Muhammad Hassam is a contemporary artist from Qalyubia, Egypt. He was born in 1974 in Qalyubia, Egypt. During his childhood and education years in Qalyubia, he received the French Lycee diploma in arts and a degree in arts from the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Cairo. In 1997, he received a scholarship from the French government to study painting in France
In parallel with painting, he continued to pursue his career in design and illustration. He began working with musical artists such as Hisham Abdel-Hamid and Rami Yacoub to produce album covers. In 2005, due to his passion for art, he moved from Paris to Los Angeles.
